Acacia Ridge

Acacia Ridge is a southern suburb in the City of Brisbane, about 13 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Beaudesert Road is the main road through the suburb, with heavy industry occupying much of the eastern side. The suburb has a long manufacturing and distribution history, including the former Holden plant and major distribution facilities.

Acacia Ridge is an industrial and distribution precinct, with warehouses and factories concentrated around the heavy industrial area and major road connections. Its commercial role is shaped by freight, manufacturing and distribution rather than a traditional town centre. Willawong, Coopers Plains and Archerfield are the closest comparable markets.
